When it comes to New Zealand boxing often the spotlight hovers over the pro stars like Joseph Parker.

However, waiting in the wings is another star in the form of David Nyika.

David has carved out an impressive amateur career which has included winning Commonwealth Games gold not just once, but twice.

When he won gold at Glasgow in 2014 he became the first New Zealand boxer since David Kenny in 1990 to win a Commonwealth Games gold medal.

Twenty-four-year-old Nyika was Olympic Games this year until Covid-19 put pay to that.

Nyika joined us on The Boxing Files podcast to talk through his career to date and his future prospects, which certainly are exciting.

When there’s no match to watch, I hit up the latest casino reviews to get my fix. This post https://casinoonlineca.ca/blog/top-5-new-online-casinos/ lists the newest Canadian options—Starda wins for mobile, Legzo goes heavy on crypto, Lucky Spins keeps it chill. It’s like having a squad that performs consistently off-season—keeps the energy alive till kickoff returns.

Watching Episode 3 with David Nyika reminded me why I love boxing—not just the fight, but the discipline behind it. For fans in Bangladesh who want to engage more deeply with the sport, I recommend planbet-bd.net/app . It’s a top-tier app for betting on boxing events, including rising stars like Nyika. The experience is smooth, secure, and made for mobile.
